I was in Oxford for the Aggies and ole miss that night. In hindsight I would have chosen the ALCS game. Watched the Aggies win an ugly game against a putrid ole miss squad but it was a rare Jimbo road win

As for Pena he reminds me a lot of a great former Aggie Chuck Knoblaugh with the Yankees where he got the yips so bad they had to move him to the outfield. We can't do that with Jeremy so he needs to figure it the f*** out.
BTW the Yankees were fine and won titles with him in the outfield. Hopefully we can win more titles but Pena ain't playing CF for us.

But a walk off HR to win the pennant is pretty rare. It's only happened 3 times in the 21st century. That's why I'd put it 2

He has the 4th most errors committed so far this year in MLB a couple behind Gunnar Henderson (18 to 20). GH still has over double the dWAR Peña does according to baseball reference. Even Seager has almost double Pena's dWAR, which seems kind of unfair because you get the feeling if Seager had more range he'd boot more balls (although I think range is accounted for in that stat).
Pena needs to outshine his peers defensively if he's going to be an average or worse bat.

I'm stretching but Brad Ausmus tied game 4 of the 2005 NLDS off a solo shot to deep center in the 9th. Without that the Burke HR never happens.
Without Yordan in the 2022 ALDS game 1 you don't get a WS.
