I'm interested to see if they try anything out of the ordinary with Witt this series, particularly with a decent chance of seeing him in the playoffs. I know ESPN can't get off its knees for Judge, but Witt is the best player in the AL right now. Of course pitching around him gets him 4-5 steals a game and he winds up in scoring position anyway. His numbers right now with a month to go are already MVP worthy

Positives:
Stout margaritas at MMP.
Really good seats purchased to celebrate her birthday
Very close proximity to her unknowing boyfriend Jose Altuve

Negatives
Game will probably be over by 6, that leaves me really, just way too many hours to do or say something stupid that would kibosh the whole idea before an appropriate time frame arrives
Our children will be home when we get home
I continue to look like Keith Olbermann had a baby with Foghorn Leghorn

Not sure what your overnight babysitter options look like, but Hilton Americas (short walk) or Hotel Icon (short Uber) really aren't that expensive. Hotel Icon has a nice bar and offers an in-room whirlpool tub for two.

Dying laughing at this. Reminds me of the episode of HIMYM where Barney decides that the cab ride home from the bar to his apartment is too long and that it leaves too much of a window for a girl that he picks up at the bar to change her mind, pass out, etc - so starts using Ted's apartment upstairs.

Forget the 40 man. I guess you can always find a Janson Junk to cut. Hopefully we haven't run out of those kind of guys. But who comes off the 26 man for Pham? At some point you can't just play Russian roulette anymore. And that's what Dana has been doing.

I feel like the only reason he's taking a flyer on Hayward is because he's afraid (or knows) Tucker isn't coming back. If Tucker does come back there isn't a place for these guys.

Not to mention that Pham has been cut by half the league and that he appears to be a disaster in a clubhouse.
