Bone bruise is the entire season now? Jeez, Tucker has been one of the most polarizing players for the Astros in recent memory.

I think a lot of people don't realize a bone bruise is actually a break of sorts.

He's been out for what? 5 weeks now? Barring a break which required surgery he should be able to head to a rehab stint after about 6 weeks.

While I prefer Parades, let's not act like Yandy isn't one of, if not the, best hitters available.

100%. Parades would fit our needs better, but Yandy would be a solid get.

Chandler on 790:
- no payroll restrictions
- trying to offload Montero in any deal that they can
- team is not focused on one starter yet, casting a wide net
- they were in on Efflin, Orioles prospects (11/20) would be top 5 in Astros system
- likely not going to be a big blockbuster (can't tell if he's referring to pitching or in general)
- not really looking for playoff starter types (i.e, aforementioned blockbuster)
- mentions Parades, doesn't know if they have the prospects to pull it off

He's been out almost 8 weeks already

Then I think he being a malingerer. There's no damn way a bone bruise should take this long.

Been out since 6/3. Can't believe he's not able to return by now but I'm no doctor either.

Strange move with the state of their non-Munoz arms. Swapping Garcia for him straight up essentially doesn't fix their issues.

Backs never seem to get better.

Seems like you can manage them but it never really completely heals.

As someone with a 60 year old back and an annular fissure around L5, I agree.

Even if he did a break that he's able to walk on and that didn't require surgery should be healed enough he's in a rehab stint by now.
