It's going to be weird at some point in the future when we don't have Kessinger to option anymore. All I do is Nguyen said:
And the AstrosTODAY’S ROSTER MOVES:

The Astros have selected IF Aledmys Díaz (#12) to the Major League roster and have optioned IF Grae Kessinger to Triple A Sugar Land. In a corresponding move, the Astros designated IF David Hensley for assignment.
You might not believe it, but it’s true: Whit Merrifield took a ball off a finger of his throwing hand while taking grounders an hour ago, is being evaluated now to make sure there’s no damage.

As Snitker said, managing to smile, “Can’t make it up….This year is something else.”
I think you're missing the bigger picture. Teams share different philosophy, they provide different scouting reports, they approach things different, not to mention the personal aspect between players and coaches. There is a reason why many players bomb when changing teams or why the excel.htxag09 said:texasaggie2015 said:
Maybe I'm in the minority then because I've benefited from a change of scenery multiple times in my life. I could be way off base and it's not a thing at all
I guess there's a difference in feeling better because of a change of scenery and actually performing better. To use your comparison, sure, you could have a toxic environment that's weighing on you and holding you back, move somewhere else, and perform better.
But, outside that, most people aren't going to change their output and work ethic, long term, just because of a change of scenery.
The Astros against Hogan Harris: Altuve 4, Bregman 5, Alvarez DH, Y. Diaz 2, Peña 6, Meyers 8, Dubón 7, A Díaz 3, McCormick 9

Arrighetti RHP
answered my question from earlier. Between Diaz and Caratini, we can be a little more platoon-y pinch hitting around Singleton/Lopes/CabbageVictor Caratini has been activated off the injured list. César Salazar optioned to Triple-A.

The Chicago Cubs announce the future is not now, but 2025 and beyond.

They move off the fence and become sellers at the trade deadline.
Then where is Dubon? I would argue Dubon should replace one of Chas or A. Diaz.Farmer1906 said:
Getting right handed as possible. In a small sample, Hogan is more of a no splits guy.

He broken. Or was before the ASG.
Luis Garcia threw a 31-pitch bullpen session today and was up to 91 mph, Joe Espada said. Justin Verlander is scheduled to throw another bullpen on Wednesday. Lance McCullers Jr. is still not throwing.

You're a brave soul going to Oakland... May the force be with you
time to fire up ol' MLBTradeRumorsSources: The Astros are expected to have Cuban OF Pedro Leon as a trade piece by the Trade Deadline.

Leon is not an option to be promoted and the franchise has no room for him.
He owns one of the best performances this season in Triple-A: .303 AVG, 19 HR, 74 HR, 22 SB. pic.twitter.com/1B4PyBC6vN

I think it's less about the guys on the major league roster right now and more about finding someone that other teams might want to acquire. If moving him saves Jake, then so long Pedro, been nice knowing ya.tjack16 said:linkdude said:time to fire up ol' MLBTradeRumorsSources: The Astros are expected to have Cuban OF Pedro Leon as a trade piece by the Trade Deadline.

Do they really not see him as better than Chas or Cabbage? Kind of curious behind the "have no room for him" part
