That's 5 balls and a 3-2 count

Is framber even trying ?
No, and it obvious. He's a little ***** when Diaz is catching him.
Let me guess, a little more intensity and he would've had a blank frame? Go back to watching football.
That is what everyone crucified Maldy for defensively last year...and I stated then how much I thought this was a dumb stat...If it is what I think it is (balls out of the zone called strikes), you are rewarding catchers for someone else (the HP ump) doing a poor job.Twisted Helix said:
Listening to the radio and Sparky made the comment that Diaz is 61st out of 61 MLB catchers in framing pitches. I have no idea how they measure that but he's not helping our pitchers.
Big difference between melting down and not trying. Obviously, he's terrible out there so far. But you gotta be a moron to think the guy is not trying.Hornbeck said:
Eff off dude. Not like Framber has not been melting down all year.

When people try to tell you that one blown ball/strike call doesn't really have that big of an impact, we just went from bases loaded with one out to two on with two outs. HUGE difference in those two scenarios and the probability of scoring runs.

What now? Looks like he started trying in the second inning. Or maybe he just had a bad first inning.Hornbeck said:
Whatever, sip. He admitted to going off script with Diaz before, and it cost us the game. That equates the same as not trying.

Bassitt is either way out of the zone or right on the edge.

Yes. Classic Framber. Let's hope he can settle down and eat a few innings.AlwaysNextYear89 said:
To be fair, seems like Framber's early seasons would be struggle in inning 1 or 2, then settle down and throw 6 or 7 total with no further damage. Maybe he and Diaz had a conversation during our last AB
