It's not just this year, it's all the injuries over the last few years they have completely mishandled.

Joe Espada on Justin Verlander: "We’re just going to give him some time with no throw and see if we can get some of that neck discomfort, stiffness, out of there before he starts throwing again." Espada said it will be "day to day" for when Verlander will resume throwing.

Kyle Tucker is still not doing activities on the field. Espada said the Astros were hoping he could resume some of that today, but Tucker is still limited to work in the weight room.

Remember last year when judge messed up his toe running into that wall at dodger stadium and they ended up finding out at the end of the year it was fractured or broken the entire time? This feels like that all over again.

Those deep bone bruises will linger forever. There's really no way to tell how long they'll take to heal

My favorite was still Yuli sleeping on a bad pillow and he missed 12 games.

Also turf made Brantley's legs sore and he ended up missing 3 weeks

The Tucker injury I can see. The one that doesn't make sense to me is JV. You can do a lot of things with a crick in your neck I would think. Pitching, running, fielding, banging Kate, the list goes on for a while.

Joey Loperfido, who isn't in tonight's Triple-A lineup and hasn't played since Friday, is dealing with left hand inflammation, according to the Astros. Stems from sliding into a base.

A bone bruise is effectively a fracture, just a matter of how significant.
