I feel like the real travesty was Blummer calling the backend of our bullpen "vaunted" in that previous inning. I might have been watching the wrong team this year.

I understand Espada pulling him even though I didn't like it. We already have 2 guys out with TJ, Verlander dealing with issues, and he is a Rookie converted from the pen. Despite what some of the debbie downers on this therad say, we are still in it. A lot of our guys just need to come back to their norms for an extended time.

Yep. Losing the games against the As and Angels plus the come from behind loss at SF means 2/3 won't cut it. They need sweeps. And no more bad losses.

They can no longer tread water and hope to get Garcia and LMJ back in August.

If Abreu does sign with Detroit he'll have a hell of a time hitting bombs in that massive park. He had a hard enough time reaching the Crawford boxes at MMP.
