He's literally made every wrong PH/sub decision he could make the last 2 innings. It's mind boggling.

Let me start this off by saying I think he made the wrong decision PH Jon and should have used Joey.

However, management ****ed Espada more than he's screwed up in games this season.

Manager has to make the best with what management gives him. Espada has not done that if he has the freedom to set the lineup that we have been told he does.

The ****ing bullpen has thrown like 10 games this season, of which the only improvement was Hader. He's quite literally using the guys he was given, and the guys that should be able to be relied on, and they have ****ed him. Crane let a ton of guys in the bullpen walk and chased names when the bullpen needed more than 1 guy.

I don't agree with playing Abreu, but dammit, Abreu has not cost this team 10 games.

Oh, and management also didn't go add any bats in the offseason either.

Yeah, I agree with you on management's failures. But Espada's in game decision making has left a LOT to be desired. He has made what they have given him worse with some of his decisions.

The problem is you are judging in-game decisions based on what we all believe this team SHOULD be at. Every decision becomes magnified in the fans mind because it's every decision they think is THE cause for a win or loss.

The reality is management absolutely ****ed Espada and his best players took the month of April off. If you're going to stay he should have inspired them in April, then you have to give him credit for inspiring them in May and so far June.

He's not perfect with in-game decisions, but AJ and Dusty weren't either. The difference is their teams were winning and their big boys didn't **** the bed to start the season.

Do you guys not remember how pissed this board would get when AJ would bring a guy in from the bullpen to get the 3rd out, throw 3-6 pitches, and then not go out there for the next inning?


I'm not saying Espada is the guy, but Dana sure is happy the ire is towards Espada instead of where it should rightfully be.
