The Astros and Phillies had played an extra inning playoff game earlier that day/evening and the Aggies played Cougar High in a football game afterwards.
After the baseball game finally ended the Astrodome had to be reconfigured to a football field. If I remember correctly kickoff didn't take place brilliant around midnight. I was at that game and remember getting home about 4:00 am. The Ags were out scored.

I'm starting to get bullish on Spencer Arrighetti even though he has quite a wide range of outcomes.
I think he could be a legitimate #2 starter in the league but he could also be a fringe #5. It comes down to one thing for him. Control. And I think that will come with time.
The organization completely revamped everything about his mechanics when he was drafted and it's paying off. Once he gets more and more comfortable, I think the walks will come down and he'll start to look like a legitimate starter in this league.
Nothing is guaranteed but I'm getting more optimistic every time I watch him.

Its been ugly, but I find it hard to believe he just lost it all of a sudden. Problem is it is hard to justify him in the lineup to try and turn it around when Meyers is balling. I'm happy about the last 2. Yordan, Breggy, & Yainer are all getting hot in time to handle the decline of Jake, Pena, & Tucker (injury). Everyone is going to fluctuate up and down all season long.
But I worry about the rotation for a full 162 and just how good we can be in a 7 game series. I am very much less bullish on Spaghetti. I think we need to go add unless we just want to put all our hopes into the guys we have plus LMJ & Garcia.

When I say bullish I mean long term. I don't expect much from him this year especially as his innings start to increase.

Thankfully we won, but both of the fans (one not pictured) could've moved back enough to let Dubon catch it. Hindsight yadda yadda.
The fan did nothing wrong. He didn't extend his arms for the ball. He just reacted. I can understand Dubon being pissed, but I can't blame the fan.
Yeah, if a 100mph+ baseball is coming right at my face, I'm probably not taking my eye off it as it's coming at me.

Rotation is officially a concern for the remainder of the year, especially if by the All-Star break the Astros are still in contention for the division lead. I also think we need to add pitching depth at the break. It's moved to #1 priority.
It's hard to ask LMJ and Garcia to come in and be themselves when they return. I hope it happens, but, I can't plan on it with them being out all year.

He's saying exactly what's needed to be said. Sounding confident without revealing his hand. It's coach speak, or in this case "GM-speak".
I can assure everyone that conversations are happening behind closed doors that involve both buying and selling. You never want to appear desperate.
