I wonder. If that's a Cards RFer on our hit ball is the call the same or would they say that's interference?

To be clear it wasn't. He didn't reach out or over the fence. But I wonder would the ump make a different call if it affected the away team.

The ball is over the fence so he's well within his right to go for it.

But you have to be smart enough to let your fielder have every chance to make the play. If that's a STL right fielder trying to catch one of our balls, then yes...as soon as his glove comes into the stands, he's fair game.
