Random question- can someone explain the pitcher's glove motions that indicate the warmup pitch? There's the flop over that ends with the pocket open and facing upwards, the point and drawback with pocket facing down, and some others. What is the code?

Frustrated, absolutely. But you gotta live and die with him. He's the best pure hitter in franchise history, and if anyone has earned the right to swing freely, it's him.

Love him overall but yeah he could do himself and the team some good if he'd be a bit selective hacking on the first pitch. Sure ambush middle middle fastball, but maybe show just a modicum of patience if your not served up a meatball

When he's slumping he goes out there and it looks like he's practically swinging at everything, but when he's on he is extremely selected on his pitches and pitchers have to be perfect to get him out.

One thing I've noticed this year is he has been playing better defensively.
