It's not about the AAV for them, it's the length. Crane doesn't want to give guys 8+ years.

It'll be higher because Framber will make more next year and he's not including Tucker himself.

However, it doesn't consider arbitration raises for others and free agents signed the 24/25 offseason.

I've been saying that for a while. We can afford a few of Altuve, Bregman, Tucker, & Framber. We already got Jose so now it's who we pair with him. Tucker seems like the very obvious choice.

I'd suggest a guy out of the league is better than what we've started the last two games.

Heck, the 12-year old on a LL all-star team might be better.

I asked this before he got called up the first time. 2015 said he was getting plenty of reps there in practice but then nada for the big league club. It's kind of funny that teams generally put their worst fielder there but we can't seem to train anyone to play it.
