The Dome was awesome. It was the coldest building to be in during the summer. That AC kicked ass.

Jon seems to be holding his own with regular playing time. He's no Freddie Freeman, but he's definitely serviceable. I don't know that a better option exists in the organization at this particular moment, but there are definitely worse options than Jon.

When I tell you she hated pregnancy… that would be an understatement!

But on top of that, her dad is dealing with stage 4 liver cancer and fell on Sunday causing 2 brain bleeds. So unfortunately he will not make it more than maybe a couple of weeks. So she's been really going through it the past month or so.

Mine was Craig Reynolds. When I was a little kid and first collecting baseball cards he was one of the first Astros I got. I remember being shocked "looking at the back of his baseball card" that he played for another team, especially one in the AL. How could he play for the Mariners, he's an Astro!

Fits the same mold as a lot of our guys. Signed at 18 for only 75k. High spin 4 seam with solid secondary stuff. Lots of Ks. Too many walks. But improving.

Hope all is well and the family is safe.

We lost power yesterday around 5 and came back about 2am.

Thankfully this was the first big storm we didn't have a large limb fall from any of our trees.

We got power back at about 1 AM here in Katy.

Every other district closed schools except for Katy so I'm in class today. 8 kids in my 3rd period out of 24 right now are present
