When I tell you she hated pregnancy… that would be an understatement!
But on top of that, her dad is dealing with stage 4 liver cancer and fell on Sunday causing 2 brain bleeds. So unfortunately he will not make it more than maybe a couple of weeks. So she's been really going through it the past month or so.

That's horrible. The silver lining is he got to see his grandbaby brought into this world. That had to be some comfort to your wife.

Yeah that's the big thing. At one point we were worried he wouldn't make it to the birth. Frustrating thing is he seemed to be improving until the fall on Sunday.
Luckily she's been able to mentally prepare herself the best she can since his diagnosis. I lost my mom to breast cancer in 2016 when I was 22, so I've been able to talk to her about that quite a bit.

I'll never forget all of his flying diving plays on the Astroturf. And one of his ABs that I seem to remember more than any (and I may be completely misremembering) was a little league inside park home run he hit after the ball went through Pedro Guerrero's legs in LF and rolled all the way to the wall on the turf. Whenever think of the mid to kate 80's, I think of Billy Doran and watching the Stros on HSE.
I'm 58 and my first trip to the Done was in the mid 70's. Loved a lot of mediocre Astros like:

That's a great list.
I was 10 in 1990, and Glen Davis was my favorite player. I also loved Doran, but neither would qualify as mediocre that season. I guess from this list I'd pick Rafael Ramirez, since Biggio and Cami turned into stars. Also SS was my favorite position
