I looked it up...

2 years ago...just 2 years ago...this was the Astros' top 6 hitters in the lineup on May 11th:

Atluve
Brantley
Bregman
Yordan
Yuli
Tucker

the Astros 6-hole hitter hit 30 home runs and 28 doubles in 2022

the 2024 team has nowhere near that kind of production/power coming from the 6-hole or the 5-hole

The question has to be do you punt the season now? Trading Pressly doesn't necessarily mean you are punting, but it probably sends a negative message to the rest of the team.
