gotta look at the mean, median, and mode so to speak

He had an .835 OPS in Sep / Oct which is good not excellent. Can't argue with you on the playoffs but it's such a small sample size it's hard to say whether he was locked in or just got a few meatballs that he took advantage of.

No offense, but some things need to be "messed up".
Why did we ever need Yordan to adjust to anything?Lonestar_Ag09 said:Wabs said:bearkatag15 said:Wabs said:

Not the few things that are working…
Yordan seems to finally be adjusting to 2nd. Tucker has hit better lately 4th. Pena is doing well lower down.
And why on earth would you put the better CFer in left. If he's on the field then Jake is in CF

He sucked last year. It isn't a sudden problem. His second half OPS last year was .760, which, when combined with his defense, was just an improvement from awful to below average from the first half.
He was excellent from August and into the playoffs, though. So this doesn't appear to be aging related.
I can’t get over this. The Yankees really went to Target and picked up a tv for John Sterling’s retirement gift lol. A tv! pic.twitter.com/uUSA6Qkgg9

Bregman is pretty good when batting with 2 out and RISP (.940 OPS).
When the game is close and late, however, he is Choke City. He sports a career .697 OPS in nearly 500 plate appearances. This year he is mowing them down at an eye-popping .452 OPS level.
If the game is on the line, Bregman is the LAST player you want at the plate (besides Abreu, of course).
RHP Cristian Javier has been scratched from today’s start due to neck discomfort…RHP Hunter Brown will start in his place.

Discomfort is back
Because it was discussed early that we was struggling with hitting earlier and it seeing pitches being behind AltuveHeineken-Ashi said:Why did we ever need Yordan to adjust to anything?Lonestar_Ag09 said:Wabs said:bearkatag15 said:Wabs said:

Diaz has been playing a lot. I assume they like the idea of him getting two full days of rest. While we've had a lot of pitching injuries, we've had none on offense. No reason to push our luck.

Except he wasn't really struggling.
Arrighetti was listed as Sugar Land’s starter today. It would seem likely he’ll start one of the first two games in Chicago with J.P. France getting the other, with Justin Verlander starting the finale https://t.co/R9Ed3wI7pN

His power numbers are down a bit. He hit 4 homeruns in a 5 game stretch two weeks ago and only 1 in the other 17 games. Only 1 XBH in the last 10 games.
Don't know if it's due to the 2 hole or not but we need his power back up
