That was not on Pressly. That is squarely on Dubie playing too shallow and Abreu's error.

No complaints really about Dubie, but Abreu should make that play.

Pressly is going to keep getting opportunities because he's been one of the best closers in baseball over the last few years. Relievers get in funks. It happens. They'll give him a long leash to sort things out and I think he'll be just fine.

Out of everything going wrong, the back half of the bullpen is the least of my concerns.

I'm not saying he should be the everyday 1B. But I guarantee he can handle the position, and at this point, he should be included as an option while we try to figure this disaster out. Like you said his value is in his versatility - and him being able to mix in at 1B is just another reason that sentiment is 100% accurate.

The Riley double should have been a fly out, but Dubie was playing shallow. And it got over his head. Abreu committed the error next to score Harris. Then a sac fly scored Riley.

The run was charged to Pressly, but that wasn't on him
