I don't think that's the best way to use WAR. I think it's as simple as we're going to play our best players. Doobie and Jake are going to share until someone establishes their self.

If there is one thing I have learned about almost ALL sports fanbases is a LOT of fans are hyper critical, almost to a fault, of anyone on their own team. I understand it can be frustrating watching players for a team you cheer for struggle or downright suck (Abreu), but some of y all seriously need to lighten up

At what point does the criticism convert over to hate tho? I haven't ever hated a player for a team I cheer for, but I realize what I say/do has zero bearing on how they perform, so I generally just complain a little and move on.

Maybe we're playing semantics here, but if you hate any professional ball player only for poor performance on the field of play, you should seek medical help. I've not seen any evidence here of actual hate towards any player. Just my opinion.
