In what world is a team with a multimillion dollar pitcher not doing a full imaging work up on an arm when a pitcher experiences discomfort and misses two starts?
Maybe he's being coy and he had a CT. Or maybe everyone is making **** up. I guess that's better than not doing any imaging.

I think he's looking at the desperate pitching situation and wants to help, but trying to start completely cold is not going to go well for him. Hopefully the folks that actually make those decisions don't agree
