We don't have to choose one. Crane made some ugly deals. Espada clearly doesn't have this team ready to play decent baseball or his coaching staff operating well. There are plenty of problems to go around, we aren't this bad because of one person.
Kessinger has to be of the mindset that he has to get Altuve up to bat in that situation no matter what. Just an AB by a young guy who hasn't had many ABs.

I personally don't think it is Espada, but the "don't blame Espada" stuff is pretty rich given what this thread has been like for a couple of years (including a WS title).

If the guys aren't good, they're not going to play decent baseball. JP France, Hunter Brown, they may just not be all that good. The middle relief just may not be good. Framber may just be inconsistent and needs to see a head shrink.
Coaching isn't going to turn bad players into good ones.
