We're 5th in ERA, 4th in BAA, and 3rd in strikeouts.

We're 2-5. Makes sense.

Getting Yordan going today feels huge. Bregs had some good ABs with drawing walks. Pena with another HR this season. Javier had 5 shutout innings. Relief pitching held the shutout.

Makes me feel so good to watch a successful game like that tonight.

Alright now it's 2-5.

Here's my hope for the next few. Split against Texas 2-2, win in KC 2-1, and then win the series at home against Texas 2-1

That puts you at 8-9 when the Braves roll into town.

This series hopefully proved to the team that we can win at home, and our offense will be fine if they quit popping everything up (looking at you Bregman)

I think I remember hearing something like a team gets 3 appeals per game, but on successful appeals, you still retain it? So basically three strikes. I could be completely making that up though.

Last year was a large sample that didn't look like this very small sample. I would like to see if this week isn't a fluke. Or if last year was the fluke.

Give me a season to see then let's talk.

I get the idea of doing it now. It locks in one year cheaper. I just want some more data.

ETA: if this week is any indication then the same question applies to Diaz.

I'd try to give him the Braves type of extension that they do with their young guys. I think he'd be worth it
