We have hit 1 homerun, and are like 4 for 30 with risp.

Do we need to wait that long? Nothing has changed.
Yeah… the offense is what worries me dating back to last August. A 1 or 2 run deficit feels insurmountable

Was just trying to bring some levity to what is, yes, not an ideal start. I'm just not going to get as worked up as y'all on March 30th. Knock yourselves out. Go Stros
Well, I pretty much agree with you that there is too much season left to panic. I think it is worth noting that there are a lot of glaring issues that were brought up in the off-season, and at the end of last season that weren't really addressed.
Last year the 7/8/9 innings weren't an issue with Neris Abreu and Pressly. We signed Hader… great move. But didn't address middle relief at all and in fact let a few guys walk in favor of AAAA quality guys.
We knew starting pitcher depth was an issue with 3 major injuries… even before JVs setback. Didn't address it.
We also knew Jose Abreu would be bad again but they did nothing to get another bat that could potentially replace him at 1st.
So yes, game three. It is way too early to panic. But the warning signs were there and honestly will probably continue to be there at least through the first month of the season.
We should have signed another starter, Hader, and a bat that could play first if necessary IMO

At what point do we need to look at the hitting coaches? Seems like this offense has regressed year upon year
We've needed to replace then for a while. The world series win made a lot of people forget how bad they were.

The whole team sucks so far.

not sure how the Yankees are pitching Yordan and Tucker -- the only 2 lefties in the lineup
but for the 7 right-handed hitters...the Yankees' approach is clearly to pitch them away, away, and further away off the plate
and it's working brilliantly
