Boy talk about an early season meltdown.

He didn't really implode. It wasn't like he was all over the place. He was very close all around the zone and movement looked great.

First start of the season with some pretty high leverage pitches.

I actually thought it was a promising start.
His sinker WAS all over the place. I know a lot of time he doesn't exactly know where it is going to go, but if he can't locate the sinker, teams will lay off the curve.

Close and around the zone is good, but the sinker has to get dialed in otherwise close and around the zone will lead to outings like today.

I'm sorry, the Yankees' pitchers have gotten the corner 90% of this game and the Astros' pitchers have maybe gotten it 10% of the time. A really sneaky screw job happening behind the plate.
