I don't know what animal sacrifice we must make to get Soto out, but I wouldn't be opposed to beaning* him the next couple times up. He's way too comfortable in the box against us.

Astros probably reprioritized the order of signing Tucker ahead of Bregman based on his start.

Lifelong fan. I honestly admit I've been spoiled the past nine years or so. This is just not fun right now for me. Reminds me of the hopeless teams of 2011-13. But we have too much talent to be that hopeless. Those teams really were bad AAA teams. Heck even the teams of my youth were usually close to .500 and competitive. This team is not competitive at all.

The difference between now and the hapless years is the talent that's on this roster. I get the pitcher injuries, but it's still crazy.
