I dont know where else to put this.

I am a junkie and turned on the Lafayette game tonight because they are ranked and playing and because they are playing Houston Christian.

I had NO IDEA Lance Berkman was the Manager of HCU. Not a clue. I lived in Houston from 2000-2006 and was and still am an Astros fan and he was a hell of a player.

Anyway go Houston Christian. They are up 10-7 in the 7th. It was 9-1 but HCU had some errors.

Perfect encapsulation of why this team is falling apart. The guys that are supposed to be leaders are giving you nothing.

Alzolay just missed three consecutive pitches badly against Meyers including two hung sliders. Altuve steps up and the first pitch of the night he doesn't swing at is a hung slider. Then he hacks at a garbage pitch to strand everyone again.

Losing. Baseball.

Also, he didn't make the trip to Olsen vs the Ags in 2023 because he was serving a suspension for ejection in the prior game. But he was there earlier this year for a mid-week matchup.
