He showed plate discipline in like 50 ABs last year. I'm not ready to put him in big spots

Why Singleton though? If we're going to put Dubon in the field anyway by pulling Jake, he's a more proven offensive player. If we were carrying 3 catchers, you could make an argument for pinch hitting Carantini since he's a switch hitter. I loved that he used Pressly in the 7th to face the heart of the order. If things worked out, Taylor would have gotten the bottom in the 8th and Hader gets Soto-Judge.

This, and just overall Framber. He goes downhill quickly when the first "bad" thing happens or he gets squeezed by blue. Yesterday, blue refused to give him the bottom of the zone - and for Framber that means he will not have a good day. He lives down there.tjack16 said:
