That was not a bunt attempt for a sac, he was trying for a hit there. Didn't love it but don't hate it either. It got Yordan up with a chance to tie the game.heavens11 said:

Pretty predictable loss to a mid team at the end of the long stretch of games. Rest up tomorrow and hope Tucker comes in to give this offense some life.
So it came down to them getting a blooper perfectly placed in no man's land for 2 runs and on the other end Yordan hitting a ground rule double that really took a run off the board.
That and JP3 batting cleanup. Which we all know he should never do but Joe doesn't have many bullets right now.

For being at the end of what amounts to a 14 game road trip I won't fret this loss too much. Take the off day tomorrow, sneak Tucker or Bregman back in the lineup and move JP3 out of the 4 hole and see what Wednesday brings.

If we go 12-12, they have to go 18-6 to tie. That's .750 ball.
If we go 13-11 they have to go 19-5. That's .792 ball.
The mountain is very steep.
We just need to keep winning series and beat the bad teams on the schedule. Every loss for them is a nail in the coffin.
Fangraphs now puts it at 97.2% vs 2.7%
