Sure but a bit of a difference between not perfect and can't seem to command the strike zone. Our back end of the rotation guys (and Haders doing it now) all to often just can't throw quality strikes and end up in high stress situations when they were expected to be more "lock down"
But you are right , no one is going to be perfect every outing and after a very forgettable start to the season, Presley has been very good for a while

Kikuchi provides immediate help and will eat innings. He won't light the world on fire, but he is serviceable.
Bloss had upside, but he was just on the team out of necessity.
Lopes may end up being good, and he may not. He's probably just another guy. When the organization didn't try him at first with the struggles at that position, it seemed like his days were numbered.
Wagner was probably not going to crack the major league squad.
It's still an overpay and sucks though.
Everything Luhnow did to build the farm and program up for sustained success.. wiped out quicker than you can blink. All we had was mid level prospects because we'd already traded the guys who would have played before them. Now we trade the mid levels. Teams don't recover from pillaging their farm like this. Many of us were active fans in the early 2000's. We will be in complete rebuild within 2-4 years.
