The problem is they have basically exhausted their margin of error and just can't afford to give up games.

If they've won the Marlins series and the Rangers series and haven't lost ground on Seattle on the day Blanco would start that last game before the ASB, I'd absolutely rest him. Going to need his arm down the stretch.

Basically, if the Astros haven't lost ground on Seattle on his start that day, in most likely resting him. But, that's probably why I'm not the manager

It would be a calculated gamble knowing I'm getting Tucker back and probably JV back after the ASB along with Garcia.
