I'd say the lack of timely hitting is more of a problem than the bullpen.

Bregman never hits in April, hits the ball hard 38% of the time to Yordan's 55%, grounded into the 7th most double plays in the entire league last year, and is elite at walking.

It was always an incredibly stupid decision to bat him cleanup, in a run producing role, when his main tool is OBP. At the same time, you have your run producer who mashes the ball in an OBP role.

It's just dumb. It's reverse of all logic. And on top of that, Bregman has multiple year's worth of data that says he isn't productive offensively in April.

Thank God Altuve is on steroids or it might have been a no hitter.
