Are there even any signs to steal in soccer??

I mean, I know it is Mexican second-tier soccer, but he does set a culture of making sure **** gets done. At all costs. Which means his teams win.

But I wouldn't take him back.

We haven't paid for past their prime old man decline years until Brantley & Abreu signed and JV got traded for. None of those moves "break the bank" since NY chipped in and Abreu only got 19.5 per for 3 years. These are all Crane / Bagwell moves.

We have extended/re-signed Altuve, Brantley, Bregman, Alvarez, Pressly, Gurriel, Verlander, Javier, & McCullers. Some multiple times.

The only guys that walked during their prime without some king of extension = are Springer, Correa & Cole. I am not sure you can count Verlander, Keuchel, or Morton, but I guess they could be considered too. You might be able to add Tucker & Valdez in 2 years. I think it's safe to say the Springer, Correa, Verlander, & Keuchel deals did not age well. Cole is good so far, but the back end could be bad. Morton was the only real miss, but that was 5 years ago.

That makes sense. There is a world where Chas plays 150+ games but he's not the "everyday CF" with Jake &/or Doobie getting a couple dozen starts.
