I'd imagine JV and some of the other veterans close to retirement might agree more as well.Farmer1906 said:Presslytexasaggie2015 said:

No sense in talking about a Bregman replacement. He is going to have a stellar year and sign a solid extension and retire as an all time great 3B for the stros.Farmer1906 said:
Thinking outside the box on a Bregman replacement... what about Ke'Bryan Hayes. The Pirates have him locked up for years at a very reasonable price. Normally, they'd have no interest in trading him away, but they may be frustrated he hasn't put it all together yet. If we stack enough prospects then it might make sense. They get out of from under 45 M owed to him over the next 5 (2025-2029) and get some AAA prospects to bring up. We get an elite defensive 3B with offensive upside for the next 5-6 years at a price where we can afford to extend someone else.
If he does, Tuck doesn't. I don't see anyway we can pay both and at this point I'd be surprised if we resign either.RO519 said:No sense in talking about a Bregman replacement. Joe Espada said he's considering hitting Kyle Tucker third behind Yordan Alvarez during the season, hence today's lineup. Their ability to handle left-handed pitching factors in, but so does Alex Bregman's ability to hit with runners in scoring position.

Great outing from France vs the Cardinals A lineup
J.P. France struck out five and walked four across 3.1 scoreless innings today in Jupiter against most of the Cardinals Opening Day lineup. He threw 66 pitches and is on schedule to pitch the second exhibition game against Sugar Land at Minute Maid Park next week

Josh James, yes that Josh James, is now pitching for the Cardinals.

If this happened anytime after the 80s he would have been checked for PEDs and possibly mutation.agproducer said:Dare I say his stuff was "electric?"TRM said:
