I had the same first guess for Detroit's 40+ homer guy. How did he never do that?

At least my percentages are consistently low. Most people are selecting players from the past 2 decades while I'm picking guys whose cards came out when I was a kid.

Reminder for the future for myself and everyone else: Gaylord Perry and Octavio Dotel played for like half of the teams in the majors.

The weird thing is he NEVER even hit 30 in a season. That blew my mind even more.

+1. My mind goes back to the mid 90's right away. I realized the other day that I knew so much more about the entire MLB spectrum when I was a kid than I do now. I thought about it and I think it's because when I was a kid we had to sit through an hour of Sportscenter every day because we didn't know when they were going to show our team. I saw much more of every team back then than I do now. These days, when my kids want to see highlights, they pull up MLB TV and go straight to the game/highlights they want to see. No sitting through every other team's videos to see what they want.

Yes, you can use past iterations of a team. I used your Nationals/Rangers guess as well.

Cheating, of course, but i had a rarity score of .57 a few days ago. Website rounded it to 1, .57 was me manually adding it up. I wonder if it would round down to zero if less than .5
