AAA guy from Sugarland gets called up to play with the big guys at The Juice Box. Guy joins the club for a Sunday afternoon game then goes out of town with the big guys and stays with them for a 10 game road trip in which he relieves in three games. I say this…
(1). The player gets paid the MLB minimum equivalent for 10 days.
(2). His stats for the games he plays in are recorded by MLB in the MLB record book. The stats are recorded in his career totals report.
(3). While with the big guys, his expenses are 100% covered by the MLB club regardless.

All of this is correct, with the caveat that it is possible that his contract could pay him more (not less) than the MLB minimum if he is projected to be a future star or has significant prior MLB experience. And that by "pay all his expenses" you mean that his hotel rooms will be paid for by the team and he gets a generous meal allowance and/or team catering. It's not like he has an open tab at the bar or the team is going to pay his mortgage, for example.
