One would think Jung would be called up, but he's not on the 40 man roster and a space would need to be made.

The other player will be a pitcher. I suspect either King or Yerry Rodriguez (both already on the 40). Hoping it isn't Allard but that wouldn't surprise me either.

We were a very aggressive baserunning team under Washington, and what Nelly lacked in speed he made up for in getting good jumps.

Eventually we'll have to actually beat the Astros. I'm not sure if it will be Jung. I still get the feeling that they want him to get more at-bats before being called up.

My first thought too!

I know it is Minor League ball, but the RRExpress is 4.0 GB Okie City and winning the division. Their next 4 games are against Okie City.

I believe they have 19 games remaining. Would they hesitate to bring him up in order to see the season out?!

So I was looking at the 40 man roster this morning and trying to figure out who we might expect to get dropped off of it....reason being, obviously, that there are a number of players in the minors who are going to be Rule 5 eligible and we'll want to protect as many as we can.

So here's my guess at the most likely to be bid "adios" from the 40 man.

Kolby Allard
Nick Snyder
Ricky Vanasco (still a prospect but has had a pretty 'meh' season, they might try to sneak him through)
Yerry Rodriguez (ditto)
John King (not sure, but I could see it)
Josh Sborz ( this is me hoping....he's had plenty of chances)

Spencer Howard

I think all 4 are safe for now

Obviously the Rangers won't likely drop all of these players, but this are the ones I think need to be updating their resumes.

So in looking at things, the Yankees close out the season in Arlington and Aaron Judge may be sitting at say 59 homers entering the series....how crazy is attendance going to be those last four games if that's the case?!

He hits with what I would quantify as negative power or anti-power. And even though his glove is good, he can make some really head scratching plays. Plus the Yankees have two really high level SS's waiting to come up.

If these are the "call-ups" for September, that is sad, but I can't say I'm surprised. I still think they want Jung to get more at-bats under his belt.

Jonah Heim has come crashing back to earth. Currently batting .236. Would venture to guess his strikeout numbers are really high too.

He's caught more games than he ever has. Garver being back next year will help them both.

I'm really liking the speed game with Taveras and Thompson. Mathias has been pretty solid too

I get what you're saying but Odor is a -0.2 WAR player for the orioles hitting .204. They would literally statistically be better without him. Gallo is a bench player for the Dodgers
