It's not just the Rangers, its every professional (and many college) teams... Just sad to see things people have been doing at Opening Day for 30 something years be restricted for the corporate $.

I like the lineup, but think this won't last more than a couple games.

Seager (28): .306, .394 OBP, 16 HR, 95 G, .915 OPS

Lowe (26): .264, .357 OBP, 18 HR, 8 SB, 157 G
Garcia (29): .243, .286 OBP, 31 HR, 16 SB, 149 G, .741 OPS

Ibanez (29): .277, .321, 7 HR, 76 G
W Calhoun (27): .250, .310, 6 HR, 75 G

Garver gets 110 GS, maybe?! Is that whom you want at #4? Maybe, but probably not.

I don't see Miller being a lead-off guy.

I think this lineup gives Garcia a chance to ease into the season with less pressure. If he is successful, I could see them trying him at the leadoff spot.

Semien or Seager will bat leadoff, I doubt we ever see Garcia in that spot. He strikes out too much and doesn't walk enough to bat leadoff, plus his power plays better lower in the lineup.

Miller's OBP is much better against RHP than left...but even hitting 227 last season, his OBP was better than Garcia's.
