Last prospect I can recall doing that was Gallo. Not sure if it was his first career AB but I do remember him hitting a couple out in his first game.

The last Ranger to do it was Jurickson Profar in 2012 according to the broadcast.

Neither actually. Homered in 2nd at bat, but he did have 3 hits and 4 rbi in his debut. Ironically, might have been one of his better games as a Ranger

Looks like that was the 133rd time in MLB history that someone has homered in his first at-bat. And the 6th player just this year to do it. Crazy.

The broadcast was saying he's had a mental coach/trainer since he was a kid and meditated on road trips when he was at Tech. As I said, on some Jedi ****

Unreal stupidity, only answer is that Calhoun must have incriminating pictures of someone. Worst position player on the team and you pinch hit him for Bubba Thompson?

The season is lost, just let the kids learn to perform in these situations. Worst yet is that Cimber is actually harder on lefties than righties so this isn't even playing the numbers.

Odds we could sign 1-3 high-end starters this offseason? If we could pool the money this off-season into pitching that we did last year into Seager, Semien, and Garver, I think we could start seeing the window open.

Our bullpen could be serviceable if they weren't run into the dirt before the all-star break. Add those 1-3 with what we have coming up from the farm and it could start to get exciting.

1 I think is highly likely. We probably don't need more than 2 and one could argue we only need an ace and a back of the rotation guy. Then add a closer and another strong Bullpen guy and we will be set.
