I fell in love with this franchise in 1962 sitting in the left field stands at Colt Stadium.

My father died three weeks before they won in 2017.

We had been Astros fans since 1970, Watched so many games over the years, It was bittersweet but I loved it.

And I love tonight too.

And I love you guys.

All series long we heard about the Phillies ability to answer when the other team scores. Pretty sweet to turn the tables on them in the 6th. Helluva pair of bookend homers by Yordan.

The fruit salad assembly came through again!

(Got up to make fruit salad when we were struggling in an earlier game, and we scored...did it again tonight after getting down 1-0, and was chopping when Alvarez hit that HR to suburban Victoria).

Thanks to the White Sox my grandfather died without getting to see the Astros ever win a world series game. He watched every night. I bought him a big TV so could still see it at the end.

I don't take this 5 year run for granted.
