How bad must Brantley's shoulder be hurt to not be able to swing better than Mancini or Diaz? Couldn't he do better than this swinging with one arm?

You also don't slam on the gas and ride the wall on the last corner of NASCAR. When is the last time a catcher couldn't complete a game. Put Vazquez in at DH is the best move.

Because we only have two catchers and if Maldy gets hurt, pitchers will have to bat.

Would it be any different than what's happening now? Maybe at least the pitchers still remember how to bunt

Honestly he needs to be playing everyday. He seems like a guy that gets into his head too much if given time to think about what he's doing. I also have to wonder about our hitting coach with him - seems like the longer he was here the worse he did. I wonder what mechanics they tried to "improve".
