I watched the Chris Burke 18 inning walkoff game from a suite in Reliant. Saw a few plays of football in between innings. The football game ended in the 8th or 9th inning. The stadium put the Astros on the big screen and no one left. Finally after about 2 hours, they kicked everyone out. We ran across the street to Papasitos to see the walkoff. That was a great day.

We now have 75k posts and 4MM views, Last year it ended at 73k and 3.5MM.

The Arlingtonians managed 233k views and slightly under 4600 posts. We may do that on Gm 5 and 6.

My wife doesn't seem to understand how spiteful some of these teams have been to us. The Yankees decided to retire Derek Jeter's number between 2 games of a double header back in 2017. Why is this important? In 1992 the Astros had the no 1 pick and took Phil Nevin, Jeter went at No 6 to the Yankees. I've heard about it plenty of times from my Yankee-loving friends.

How did the Astros repay the favor? By hitting 3 HR's in the first inning after the ceremony was over.

I understand. My wife grew up a Mets fan, but wasn't a die-hard (her mother was, though). She can't fathom the hatred there. She tells our son that he can root for them and the Astros, but I think he's wise to that now.
