You can't let them get guys on base and hit a bomb to get back in this. If you let them win this game after being up 5-0, what a wore situation to be in than burning the top guys today.


I get it. But every single inning he throws or that Montero or Pressly throws accumulates. In the same way it does with Alvarado for them.

It's a fine line. And I vividly remember 2017 and Josh Fields. Admittedly that was 5 straight appearances but it adds up.

But, can you afford to go down 3-1 with a clincher tomorrow at their house in the name of not showing the top guys today?

This risk is worth it to me.
