He is doing analysis. It is his job. They have been just as high on CJ.

It is Joe Buck syndrome. No one likes to hear things about the opponent and miss when their own team gets praised.

This is past that for me. Pena ab is a perfect example. May be the at bat of the game. But all he talked about was a mistake. No mention of Pena changing his approach. Sitting on the breaking ball. Laying off two pitches he's chased multiple times. Then sitting back on a strike that he's been in front of in previous at bats. He's suppose to provide analysis of the game. Not just the pitcher.

I did have the same thought, but I think this game is more important, so get as much out of him as you can this game.

I think he would still be available for a couple of innings for G7
