Cuz he got a meatball.
Or maybe that is the result of trying to pull those pitches into the Crawford Boxes instead of just trying to make hard contact.AggiEE said:Harry Lime said:But he could still watch a couple pitches. He's swinging like he promised 2 to a kid in a hospital.Mathguy64 said:
I wonder if we find out Altuve is hurt.
No problem with him swinging at those two pitches.
They should have been clobbered into the Crawford boxes, total meatball pitches
Eso si, Que es said:
Would have been nice to make him throw to 3 batter min there, does he come back?

I understand the concern about Smith. I understand that during the regular season Dusty provided us with plenty of material worth criticizing or at least questioning.
However, I think Dusty has been lights out managerially this Postseason and deserves way more credit than most of y'all seem to be giving him. Bleed elsewhere.
really though, about dusty in the regular season, i've said it before and i'll say it again,, his goals were or should've been: 1. make the playoffs 2. team be as healthy as possible for the playoffs 3. know who you can trust in leverage situations, meaning, put guys in high leverage spots and see who performs, who grows/develops, like montero and abreu. dusty was thinking big picture to win the world series, not to fight for every regular season win.
