Right. He has one of the best records in the league.

We did pull him, in a tie game. Gave him the chance he deserved. Unfortunately it didn't work out.

First sign? He go destroyed in the 4th. Then it started again in the 5th. Dusty has to read the game and adjust.

Right. He has one of the best records in the league.

We did pull him, in a tie game. Gave him the chance he deserved. Unfortunately it didn't work out.


This is the World Series. JV has been average at best in the post season and poor in the WS multiple times. You absolutely pull him in the 5th to try and keep the lead. This isn't difficult. Dusty has pushed all of the right buttons until that moment.

To be clear to the baseball gods. If that is JV's last pitch it is because the 'Stros sweep the Phillis, not vice versa.

This seems like over managing.

I'm assuming they really need him for tomorrow and don't think they need to waste his arm on our bottom.

I don't really blame the move here with our designated out due up this inning.

He got the heart out. Now they can use a lesser guy for the back of our lineup. Then Siranthony again for the heart. This is a good strategy.
