Aside from the Yankees and Dodgers players, it's always interesting to hear other players reaction to 2017, especially when compared to the media.

You can just tell from the way Rose asked the question and his response after Giolito asks if the Astros won in 2017 what he feels. Which is how most of the media feels.

Giolito was super complimentary. He knew what was going on around the league. I bet most guys do too, which is why the Blue Jays players, the Red Sox Players, the Twins players, and even Yankees players now don't care about having 2017 Astros on their team.

As if we needed further proof that NYC was full of inbred cretins.

This morning I am surprisingly at ease.

I guess when you get here 4 times in 6 years the craziness settles down.

I had no expectation either way against LA. I was just happy to be playing. I expected to beat the Nats and of course that went wrong. I really don't think I expected to beat Atlanta after Game 1. I expect to beat Philly.

Winning game 1 is the key.

We win games 1 and 2 at home, game 4 there and close it off at home in game 6.
