To piggy back on my surprise prediction above...

I love Vasquez and the energy he brings. He's always the first one out of the dugout screaming, celebrating, jawing.

Dude just brings it whether he's playing or not.

If he's not around after this season he'll be one I'll always follow and root for.

How to stream the WS for free? I know it's on Fox, UT I'm gonna be in the boonies with no TV, and using a cell booster to sometimes get service. Dunno what options may be available to watch without having to pay a subscription to something.

We all remember Framber's first WS starts last year when he gave up 10 runs with just 4.2 total innings pitched on 2 starts. In JV's 2006 world series debut he gave up 10 runs in 11 total innings (2 starts). Garcia gave up 4 runs in 6 innings (2 starts) in 2021. All those Philly pitchers got to sit all week and realize the magnitude of going to their first WS start/appearance.

Here's to the Philadelphia pitching staff having the yips and giving up big innings! I hope they overmanage and pull starters at the very first sign of trouble.

I don't know enough about him to know what his weaknesses are and where the hole is.

So basically bury sliders low and inside (just don't miss) and heat either up and in or up and away.

Have a feeling he is going to see a healthy dose of sliders down and in.

Love seeing Cashman back. A great GM when the Yankees spent 2x more and had way better analytics/sign stealing tactics than any other team. The game has passed him by and I'm thankful that nepotism Hal doesn't see that.

I don't know how this series will go. Frankly, I thought the Astros would take care of the Nationals in short order. Thought the Braves series would go the distance with a likely home win in game 7. Neither of those were in the cards.

That said, I think this Phillies team is the weakest team the Astros have played in the WS. They're hot, and baseball is baseball, but this Astros team is dominant right now and if both continue playing their best ball, the good guys are a much better, deeper, more experienced team.

I don't see it going to 7.
