If there ever was a case for canceling the playoffs and awarding a championship because one team was so clearly better than all the others, our 2022 Los Angeles Dodgers would be it. For the love of St. Vincent Scully, they won 22 more games than the second-place team in their division, which just isn't done.
The 'Stros could still be losing 100+ games a year and I would still celebrate the Dodgers going down in the postseason.cone said:

not going to make that mistake again
Hard to imagine Boone keeping his job also if the Damn Yankees don't at least make the ALCS and probably needs to make it to the World Series.tjack16 said:
Dave Roberts might get fired. 2nd season in 4 years where they had the best record in majors and didn't advance past the NLDS.
Everyone gonna hate this take, but the Dodgers getting bumped in the NLDS again during their run of regular season dominance makes what the Astros have done even more impressive. Six straight ALCS appearances when the Division Series can be a motherfucker even for the best teams.

You know, it is kind of fun being a fan of the the most hated franchise in baseball.linkdude said:Everyone gonna hate this take, but the Dodgers getting bumped in the NLDS again during their run of regular season dominance makes what the Astros have done even more impressive. Received a text from an NL West Talent evaluator: “Dave Roberts job is not safe. I would not be surprised if Dodgers finally move on”

Also got up far too early for a Saturday morning to make sure everything was off the table so I could enjoy a day baseball. If it were not for being amped up over the Astros sweep, I'd gone to bed long ago.

Pena was asked to describe being out there for all 18 innings, "Man, I'm tired. Shout out to their fans, I don't think 1 fan left the whole game."
Added - "This guy is a dog!" as he motioned to Garcia (5IP, Win) pic.twitter.com/PPT6rcBMlq
