We honestly don't know what happened. Given what looks like a major break down between Crane and Click. Maybe Crane thought he had a deal with Correa and a lick screwed it up. Who knows.

I will say Servais giving the free pass to Yordan wasn't a panicked call (not saying you were implying it either) but you absolutely have to do it in that situation. Hell, we didn't issue a free pass with a man on first against Judge earlier in the year and it bit us in the ass.

When a guy is as hot as the sun you just hold up 4 fingers and hope your pitcher can get out a good hitter. Luckily he didn't.

I think he got lucky with montero. I was really surprised he came back in the 8th.

You're probably right but luck is just another way to say it worked. And you never know when these moves will have positive ripple effects in later games.

I've been raging against Dusty all year so this isn't just free adulation. He's been steady so far.

Those games were nail biters. It feels so good being able to go up 2-0 instead of what could have easily gone the other way, in a best of 5 series.

It has taken great performances (in different ways) by most of the Astros team thus far to pull these through.

ALDS always is the most nerve wracking to me.
