So the road teams won 3 out of 4 so far.

It will be very interesting to see how that plays out.

So far, I'm a fan of the new format. I also think it really benefits the 1 and 2 seeds. Especially when their opponent had to go to 3.

I like the new format as it adds a little more intrigue to the WC round. But I think the other format actually helped out the one seed more as the winner nearly always wasted their ace right before playing you without enough rest time to get them in early in the series.

It is done for TV. so as not to have four games on back to back days and then no games. What I don't understand is why they just don't stagger the NLDS and ALDS from the start.

Because they're already at a huge disadvantage having already played in a 3 game series. Plus they're on the road.

I wasn't surprised about that and expect them to come after Astros hitters if they beat the Jays whether or not any of their guys get hit. Plus I don't think it was a coincidence that George was targeted.

Maybe, but I wouldn't put it past the Mariners to basically try and injure a few of our players in a series like that even if they were down 3-0.

Random crap like that can really mess up the rest of the post season. all it takes is one important guy to go down
