Did I just imagine the Astros sweep against the Rays a week or so ago? Neither the Rays nor the Phils are playing particularly well at the moment.

Not sure why you are fretting over postseason seeding if actually believe the 'Stros will lose out and the damn Yankees will win out at this point.

Funny you bring up '19, this was the last time the Astros had a seven game losing streak.

IMO winning this year would make up for 2019 to me.

Does it suck to not win one that year? For sure especially since I was in the stadium for game 7. That was rough and still is.

But winning it all this year would erase that for me.

I like Judge and have enjoyed the chase. But I do agree with the spirit of this. For the people claiming it's the "clean" record, I'm like, Aaron Judge is 6'7 and like 280. Whether he's never taken anything or not, he has more in common with Bonds and Mac than he ever has Roger Maris.

The only one of our pitchers with a winning record was David Martinez, who went 1-0 in 4 games out of the bullpen.

You can't beat Wrigley. I went to see the Stros there for 3 games in '96 (whoop) and 3 more in '07. I'd say perhaps even more than Fenway, it is the epitome of feeling like you're watching baseball in America and time stands still.

On my trip there in the 90s I sat next to a kid who was from Wisconsin and it was his birthday and he told me that Scott Servais was his favorite player. I told him that was a terrible choice and he should pick someone else.
